Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey

Revel Entertainment Group's newest project, a super casino in Atlantic City, is still under construction and slated to open in 2010.

Kevin DeSanctis, chief executive officer of Revel Entertainment Group L.L.C., said that 18 floors of the first hotel tower were done, as was three-fourths of an 8,000-car parking garage, and that the structural steel for the casino was almost complete. "Construction will continue on the corner shell of the structure and the enclosure," he said. "We will complete the building."

Not only is the continuation of the new Revel project a sign Atlantic's City's rebirth, but it also helps to illustrate the resiliency, and attraction, of the famous seaside resort town. While many of the large commercial expanions in cities' across the country are being shelved permanently, Atlantic City is clearly expanding and planning for the future.
